The Star City School District is pleased to announce that breakfasts and lunches will be served to all students at NO CHARGE during the 2021-2022 school year. Unless you are a new student, it is not necessary to complete a meal application for free or reduced-price meals for this year. The United States Department of Agriculture has extended free meal benefits to all students at this time.
For households who wish to complete a meal application, they are available at any of the campus offices or the Administration Office.
These meal benefits DO NOT include a la carte items sold in the cafeteria. If students wish to purchase items a la carte, they will need to have money for those purchases.
All visitors of the district must assume the full cost of the meal if they choose to purchase a meal in the cafeteria.
Who SHOULD apply for FREE OR REDUCED PRICE meals?
New Students
Families of students who were not eligible for Free/Reduced Meals based on income in the 2020-21 school year and feel they have had a change that may affect their eligibility.
This may be of importance for your family if the P-EBT (Pandemic EBT) is issued again.
