JBE students raised money to support the Bright Futures program in Lincoln County. Students raised funds with a pie in the face fundraiser. Each dollar donated gave the students one vote for who they wanted to see with pie on their face. Students could choose between Mrs. Kari Newton, Mrs. Laura Brooke Smith, Mrs. Jessica Hutson, and Mrs. Mary Beth Gardner.
Halfway through the fundraiser, a challenge was issued to the students; if they could raise $1,000, all four would get a pie in the face. JBE students exceeded that goal and raised $1,100. This money will be used to meet the needs of families in our area. Students in Mrs. Allison Dunn and Mrs. Braydn Hoots' class raised the most money and these students got watch the pie in the face live. Eden Engel, Piper Hutson, Chason Dunn, and Jamison Blakeslee were the luck student who got to pie the principals and counselors.
Thank you JBE for your efforts!
